Want to Help?
One of the most important functions of the Callaway County MFCAA is to provide resources, activities, and support to our foster and adoptive parents. With support from the community, we are able to do more and more. So, we need your help. Here are some ways that you can help out:
They Need Help, They Need Us, They Need You!
Donations
Foster parents spend a lot of time and their own resources in caring for the needs of children in care. Many of these children have special needs and require a lot of extra time and attention. Caring for them is a costly endeavor, and the generous donations of our community can help us to care even better for them.
When a child enters into foster care they usually come with only the clothes on their back...........
What is Needed:
Clothing - Children in care range in ages from newborn to 18. Any
clothing in gently used or new condition
Diapers - This is a very large expense to our foster parents. Having a
Diaper Drive, fundraiser, or collection would be a great way
to donate diapers to the foster families that have young
children
Toys - Hosting a Toy Drive, or just cleaning out the kids toy chest
are just a couple of ways of being able to provide safe and
fun toys for kids in care.
Extras - Baby Cribs, playpen, bunk beds, toddler beds.
Money - Cash and check donations in any amount are a great way to
support the foster parents. These donations can be made
out to the Callaway County Foster Parents and sent to the

Any other donations that you would like to offer.

There are over 11,000 foster children in the state of Missouri. If you interested in becoming a Callaway County foster parent or want to adopt a foster child please contact the Division of Children Services (573)-592-4138.

Volunteers
Volunteers are needed to assist in activities and special events, childcare for our support meetings held once a month, hosting fundraisers and drives and sponsoring events.
